Elegant and sculptural, this set of Gruppo Skipper Gong Table Lamps by Bruno Gechelin showcases the refined craftsmanship and minimalist aesthetic of Italian design from the 1970s.
Each lamp features a circular frosted glass diffuser.
The diffuser is supported by a heavy round 'Imperial Grey' marble base, creating a harmonious balance between form and function.
When illuminated, the frosted glass produces a soft, diffused light that enhances any modern interior. The clean lines and timeless materials make these lamps versatile pieces—ideal for living rooms, offices, or bedside settings.
Bruno Gecchelin (1930–2012)
Bruno Gechelin was an acclaimed Italian designer and architect celebrated for his refined, modernist approach to lighting and furniture. A graduate of the Politecnico di Milano, he collaborated with renowned manufacturers including Skipper, Oluce, Arteluce, and Tronconi. His work is distinguished by elegant proportions, technical precision, and timeless simplicity. Gechelin’s designs, such as the Gong and Mezzaluna lamps, remain icons of Italian design and continue to be sought after by collectors worldwide.
