About the Item
A massive pair of French Natural smokey rock crystal rectangular form lamps with gilt rectangular wood bases. These are truly a gorgeous pair of lamps, with hand-carved and hand-polished smoky rock crystal bodies, each carved out of a single large piece of naturally smoky rock crystal. The quality of these particular smoky rock crystal bodies is equivalent to a fine quality diamond; the clarity and light smoky color are very rare to find, as these smoky rock crystals are usually very dark, murky, and of poor quality. Finding a pair of smoky rock crystal lamps of this size and shape is very difficult as these rocks were hand-selected, hand-carved, and finally hand-polished to enhance their fantastic color and very large size. The smoky color of these crystals is rarer than clear crystal and they go delightfully in any décor and any style home. They are both Mid-Century Modern as well as Louis XVI style, making them a perfect addition to a bedroom, den, living room, etc. They are both electrified and ready to be used.
