Sophisticated Post Modern, Memphis School candlestick form table lamp, designed by George Kovacs, for Robert Sonneman, ca.1990's. The lamp has a cone form shade ( 7.5 in. Dia. ) with decorative ball finial, on a slender center post, with a square ( 5 x 5 in. ) base. Gray finish with mat brass decorative trim elements. The lamp accepts a standard size halogen bulb, and still retains its original glass disk form diffuser. It is in very clean, original, and working condition, fully and correctly marked on verso, as shown.

Handsome leather arched table lamp by Spanish design house, Valenti. Based in Barcelona and founded over 200 years ago, Valenti has deep roots in high end furniture and elegant designs. Made in the 1970s this table lamp is completely wrapped in an elegant oxblood leather from the dome base all the way up the stem to the cone shade and fastened with a contrast stitch similar to the style of Jacques Adnet. The base has a small on/off switch as well as a dense metal weight within to balance the lamp. Stem of the lamp has a small ring in the middle and curves at the top of the neck. The lamp shade is made of a thin metal sheet and is also wrapped in oxblood leather. Moveable/angled lamp head to direct light. Comes with original European wiring and we will include US adapter plug. Elegant reading lamp.
