The *Candle* table lamp, from 1970, combines functionality and design with its unique snap-on mechanism, which allows the light to be turned on and off intuitively. The metal cap, designed to rotate, raises and lowers to open and close the lamp, allowing the intensity of the light to be modulated and transforming the lamp from a lighting object to a design sculpture.
