About the Item
White, gilt and green 'antiqued' table lamp in pine. Primed with gesso and hand painted with red priming coat showing through in places.
Probably Florentine, 1940s-1960s. Shows many charming signs of wear but is overall in good condition.
Original shade consisting of frame, paper, hessian and decorative brocade edging. Shade in excellent condition.
The measurements given below are for the whole lamp, including shade. The lamp base alone measures 14.7 cm diameter by 50 cm tall.
Rewired, tested and tagged to meet Australian Standards. Takes one Bayonet Cap globe (B22), one suitable LED globe supplied with lamp. Compatible with US wiring, requires only a change of plug.
This item is wired to Australian Standard for a 240v system. It is compatible with European 220v electrical systems. Rewiring is recommended for use in the US and anywhere a 110v system is in place.

We chose distressed as condition due to paint loss and general wear. Structurally, the lamp is in great stable condition. However, there is some gesso loss, down to wood on the stem. See images for details. Overall good used, charming condition.
