This exceptional table lamp is a standout example of Mid-Century Modern biomorphic design, celebrating organic, fluid forms that mimic natural silhouettes. The body features a sophisticated hourglass profile, expertly hand-glazed in a high-contrast monochrome palette. The alternating bands of matte black and highly textured, white-speckled "fat lava" glaze provide a tactile, volcanic quality that was a hallmark of prestigious 1960s and 70s European art pottery. Biomorphic hourglass silhouette with vertical ovular "leaf" motifs. Dramatic black matte finish paired with a dense, speckled white volcanic-style texture.
