The Presidente Table Lamp, also known as the Pendulum, was designed by Luis Pérez de la Oliva and Pedro Martín García for Fase in 1963. This iconic model is a milestone in Fase's history, as it was patented by the designers a year before the company's founding. As noted in Fase, the Book - The Mystery Solved, it served as "the starting point from which the design would go on to characterize Fase's future range of lamps with its use of shapes and materials."
This lamp exemplifies Fase's design ethos with its combination of elegant materials and practical functionality. Its swiveling base and shade, which pivots in all directions, make it incredibly versatile for task lighting or ambient illumination. The arm, constructed from a blend of rich wood and a curved chrome rod, adds warmth and sophistication to its sleek design.
