About the Item

Minimalist table lamp by German manufacturer BUR Bünte Remmler Leuchten. A very rare version. Cubic shapes permeate this design. Probably the most striking detail of these BUR designs is the fine perforation of the shades. Rectangular slotted holes refract the light emitted and, when switched on, dissolve the cubic shape of the lamp body. A special feature of this design is the contrasting gray metal band that surrounds the lamp head and is offset by a joint on the top. This joint is further accentuated by the light emitted. The base is dissolved into a simple bracket. The lamp head is connected to the base via two joints, allowing it to be tilted and individually aligned. The lamp is in good condition with signs of wear and patina.
