Elegant Murano glass table lamp, designed and crafted by Mazzega in Italy in the 1970s.
This piece features thick, hand-formed, curved glass panels arranged in a sculptural square shape that beautifully diffuses light through their irregular, textured surfaces. The chrome lamp holder adds a sophisticated contrast to the organic transparency of the glass.
A refined example of Mazzega's craftsmanship and expressive Italian lighting design of the 1970s, this lamp creates a play of reflections and shadows when illuminated, reminiscent of the glasswork of Mazzega's Excalibur models for Nason.
