About the Item
This iconic lamp, model 'Timor 69’, was designed by Louis Kalff for Philips. These UFO-shaped lamps were produced in green and brown, however this is a rarer grey version which was manufactured for the Belgian Post Office.
This large desk lamp is an impressive 55cm in height (inc bulb), has a round iron base with a built-in switch with the Philips logo and a silver chrome rod. The steel shade has a hole in the centre the a crown silver bulb sits.
In good vintage condition, with age-related wear (please see images), professionally rewired and ready for use.
