About the Item

Designed and manufactured by Andrew Kornat Designs and made in Venice Italy, these super sleek mouth blown Murano glass table lamps made in the traditional Sommerso technique of glass blowing - which is directly translated as "submerged under water", the coloured element is submerged in clear glass as though it is being pushed under water The super thick clear Cristallo glass envelopes the translucent Cobalt Blue inner blown glass colour, the glass is so thick that each lamp weighs 7kg/ 15.4lbs Capped with a Nickel plated brass cup (they can also be supplied with Gold Plated Caps and cups - please specify when ordering) which supports the lamp holder from which the cable hangs externally from the lamp. Due to the thickness of the glass it is impossible to drill the lamp for the cable and we feel that would ruin the craft of the master glass blowers who make these lamps entirely by hand The lamps are wired as standard with EU/ UK cable and E27/ES Lamp holder as standard, however we can wire them for the USA or anywhere in the world on request for no additional cost when ordering The height listed is for the lamp only not including shade - from the base to the lamp holder Shown in different colours in our showcase at London's premier trade location - Design Centre Chelsea Harbour where our products can be viewed in rotating displays
