Lovely vintage Chinoiserie celadon jade green Celadon octagon or urn shaped table lamps with new black linen-like drum shades and a black painted foot on the wood bases. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, they have a freshly painted black foot on the wood bases and they retain their original socket covers but they have been rewired with new inner guts. This is a GORGEOUS pair of jade green octagon urn shaped celadon pottery table lamps with a black painted wood foot on the bases, black die-cast ball shaped finials, a 3-way switch on the original socket covers, and new black linen like drum shades. A little fun fact… Celadon is an elegant pottery that originated in China and is also known as “greenware.” Celadon denotes both the jade green color and the ware itself usually bearing small cracks under a lovely transparent glaze… each piece is unique much like this magnificent pair of table lamps. They are going to be beautiful on a pair of nightstands in your bedroom or upon a wonderful pair of end tables in the living room.
