Each lamp features a domed tea caddy form rendered in a saturated lacquered red ground, accented with finely applied gilt ornament and figural scenes, making the pair visually cohesive yet individually expressive. One lamp is decorated with a standing male figure wearing traditional robes and a conical hat, depicted in motion beside stylized rockwork and flowering plants.
