About the Item

French Opaline Lamps of this form date to the early to mid Deco period. This form has remained very desirable into the 21st century. Opaline glass is created with the addition of lead powder to molten glass which is a complex and toxic process. Because of the toxicity, Opaline glass is no longer produced resulting in an increase in its desirability and cache. ***Lamps are priced per pair.
