About the Item

Pair of 1940s Art Deco Hollywood Etched Crystal Table Lamps were realized in the United States circa 1940. They feature tiered skyscraper style bases in translucent crystal with etched striated detailing, inscribed at a bias, on each of the volumetric rectangular crystal forms that compose the body. The etched cubic crystal pieces that compose the body are bookended by silvered embellishments on top and bottom offering a beautiful formal and material counterpoint. Additionally, the lamps are fitted with volumetric rectangular finials that reiterate the forms present on the body. With its clean modernist lines and monochromatic palate, these table lamps would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Art Deco to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent vintage condition. They come presented with custom shades. American, circa 1940 Dimensions: 25”Height X 4.25” Diameter Base.
