About the Item

A striking pair of hand-forged wrought iron lamps in the Spanish Revival taste, dating to the early 20th century. Each sconce features an elongated shield-form back crowned with a dramatic finial shaped as a stylized budding flame, flanked by scrolling foliate ironwork. Two graceful arms extend outward, terminating in scalloped bobeches with faux wax candle sleeves. The sconces retain a beautifully timeworn patina with areas of natural oxidation, lending depth and authenticity to their surface. Hand-wrought details, including curled leaves and floral embellishments, highlight their artisanal craftsmanship and Old-World character. Perfect for Mediterranean, Spanish Colonial, Tuscan, or Gothic-inspired interiors, these sconces offer a bold decorative statement while remaining versatile for use in entryways, dining rooms, or grand halls.
