About the Item
Pair of Arabian style lamps in chiselled and gilt brass bronze with a baluster shape standing on a circular quadripod scalloped base with motifs of scrolls on a guilloche background. Belly with canted and bulged corners each adorned with a large guilloche background cartouche and decorated with scroll. Two cut shaped handlesending by stylized lion heads axe fixed to the belly. Neck with central bulges decorated with foliage scrolls, a frieze of radiant circles centred by beads. High part with a decor of palms, beads, water leaves friezes and openwork motifs of scrolls.
Work realized in the 19th century.
