About the Item
Very rare pair of B 90 table lamps designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson. Produced by his own company, circa 1961-1962 in very few numbers. Made from polished brass with light grey lacquered aluminum shades. Custom light switch in solid brass. Both impressed with makers mark, Markaryd and model number. Very good condition with few signs of wear and patina.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
