About the Item
Stunning Pair of Barovier
Toso Gold Murano Glass Lamps. The design employs the Cordonato D’Oro technique—an intricate process in which 24-karat gold leaf is suspended in glass to create a rope-like motif that traces each rib of the baluster form. The lamp’s body is blown in clear Murano glass with prominent vertical ribbing, each curve accentuated by the shimmering gold threads. The baluster shape is classical yet fluid with gold detailing. The lamps are mounted on brass bases with brass breaks. The lamps are in remarkably good condition with no visible damages. The brass mounts have been newly polished. The lamps are newly wired. The lamps are 34" h and can be adjusted up another 4".
