A pair of Swedish table lamps produced by BJS Skellefteå in the 1960s, combining brass bases and shades with teak elements on the arm. The warm wood contrasts with the polished brass, giving the lamps a refined yet natural character. The original plastic diffusers are still resting in the brass shade giving a nice diffused light.
The mix of materials reflects the Scandinavian preference for combining the warmt of brass and teak wood. Subtle in design yet rich in detail, the lamps exemplify the quiet elegance of Swedish lighting from the mid-20th century.
