About the Item

An elegant and most decorative pair of Continental 19th century Neo-Classical st. Ormolu and Glass lamps. Each wonderful lamp is raised by a square stepped base with an acanthus leaf band. The square plinth above is decorated by an attractive berried laurel wreath with a central rosette and two crossed staffs. Above is the fluted column which leads to the intricately detailed Corinthian capital supporting the handsome forest green Glass oil vessel.
