About the Item

A stunning true pair of French 19th century Empire st. porcelain and ormolu lamps. Each elegant lamp is raised by a fine circular ormolu base with a wrap around ormolu pattern. The socle pedestal displays a beautiful acanthus leaf design which encases the richly hued green porcelain body. At each side are striking and richly chased eagles with intricately detailed open wings. At the neck is a fine ormolu band below the top cap.
