About the Item

A stunning and most decorative pair of French 19th century Louis Philippe period Patinated Bronze, Ormolu and Crystal candlestick lamps. Each candlestick mounted into a lamp is raised on a two tiered patinated Bronze triangular base with concave sides. Above are three pawed supports which are adorned with richly chased Ormolu foliate designs. The central fut has a baluster shaped patinated Bronze shaped base with palmettes and reeded designs all below a striking spiraled crystal fut. The crystal futs leads up to a wonderful patinated Bronze and Ormolu capital, with a pleated cream shape above.
