About the Item

An elegant and intricately detailed pair of French 19th century Louis XV st. Sévres Porcelain and Ormolu lamps. Each most elegant vase mounted into a lamp is raised by pierced foliate Ormolu base supporting the tricolor Sévres Porcelain vases. The baluster shaped body of each lamp features intricately hand painted floral blooms on a white background while framed by a Gilt foliate border, centered at the bottom by a bow tied ribbon, and at the top by a large palmette. Each lamp is finished with fine Ormolu top cap displaying a beaded rim.
