About the Item
A handsome pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. Ormolu Bouillotte lamps. Each wonderful candelabra mounted into a lamp is raised on a circular mottled bases with crossed ribbon designs. Above is a fluted Ormolu column leading to the three arms displaying unique Greek key designs with a recessed central band. At the end of each arm are fluted candle cups with beaded trimmed bobeches atop a reeded circular saucer with the same crossed ribbon designs. At the center of the three arms is the reeded stem with the adjustable shade and fine Urn or Prosperity Ormolu finials.
