About the Item
A very attractive pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu candelabra lamps. Each three arm lamp is raised by a circular base with a fine mottled border and beautiful richly chased spiral fluted foliate designs. The elegant tapered central support also displays a fluted design with foliate accents leading to the impressive eternal flame final above centered by the three elegantly curved arms. Each arm is adorned with a finely detailed acanthus leaf and displays lovely reeded bobeches and superb foliate candle cups. All original gilt throughout.
