About the Item
A striking pair of hand-painted urn-form table lamps in the chinoiserie taste, mounted on square plinth bases. The bodies are richly decorated with swirling teal ground and trailing gilt foliate motifs, accented with lotus-leaf borders and beadwork in gilt. Each lamp retains its original custom parchment shade, hand-painted with coordinating borders in teal and gilt, giving the set a refined and harmonious presentation.
