About the Item
I'm offering for sale a pair of lamps that won't go unnoticed in your bedroom and perfectly express the glamorous style of the 1970s.
The designer and brand that produced them in the mid-20th century are unknown to us, but their style recalls the elegant homewares designed for Dior Home or those made in Italy by Tommaso Barbi.
This pair of vintage lamps, thanks to their size and gentle illumination, are perfect for placing on two bedside tables in your bedroom. However, as a matching pair, they can also be placed at the ends of a sideboard or cupboard.
Highly decorative, this pair of lamps successfully blends Hollywood Recency style with the use of gleaming gilded brass and Chinese Chippendale style with its oriental-inspired design and the use of cane webbing enclosed between glass panes that recall an oriental lantern.
The lighting provided by this pair of nightstand lamps is direct thanks to the hole located at the top of the Parallelepiped and screened on the sides, with a splendid light effect thanks to the use of cane webbing in the lampshade.
The lamps are functional and in good vintage condition.
The bulb holders have been replaced with two new, stylistically matching ones.
The brass, left in its patina, shows minimal signs of oxidation.
The glass panels have been disassembled and thoroughly cleaned.
