About the Item

This refined pair of Italian ceramic table lamps features tall, well-balanced forms finished in a warm white crackle glaze, characteristic of mid-20th-century Italian decorative production. The lamp bodies are composed of cylindrical lower sections rising to elongated necks, with a raised decorative band encircling the shoulder that adds subtle texture and craftsmanship without distracting from the clean silhouette. Each lamp is mounted on a weighted base and fitted with original brass hardware, including dual-socket clusters with pull-chain operation. The brass components retain an attractive, aged patina that complements the creamy glaze and enhances the overall warmth of the design. The undersides are clearly marked Made in Italy, confirming origin. Elegant and versatile in scale, these lamps work comfortably in a range of interiors—from mid-century modern and Hollywood Regency to more transitional settings—serving equally well as functional lighting and sculptural decorative objects. Condition is very good. The ceramic bodies are free from cracks or repairs, showing only minor surface wear consistent with age. Wiring appears intact; professional rewiring is recommended for vintage lighting prior to installation. Sold as a matching pair.
