About the Item
Exceptional modernist pair of table lamps by Maison Desny. It assembles 6 thick slabs of glass with nickel plated metal. Maison Desny was a prominent Art Deco Paris based workshop specialized in luxurious modernist lamps in particular using thick geometric pieces of glass as well as nickel plated metal. This is a very fine example of the best production Maison Desny was producing. Art Deco period, 1930's. Each one stamped below the base "Desny Paris Made in France déposé". Each lamp has a smal chip on one of the slabs of glass (see photos).
Wired for European use.
