About the Item
A pair of sculptural, solid pine table lamps made by Stilarmatur in Tranås Sweden. The body of the design is turned pine wood. Although the form of the lamps is curvaceous and their edges soft, the scale of the lights and the proportions of the shapes used within relate to Brutalist architecture. The amount of wood used in the chunky lights visually warms the design as the wood is not only apparent but attractively grained and patinated. Lamps and diffusers in very good condition. Height with shades are 52 cm. We are selling these lamps without the shades.
