About the Item
An incredibly sexy pair of Italian Murano Glass lamps, a unique treasure from the 1970s. These lamps were designed and made exclusively for a luxury ski resort in Switzerland, embodying the sexy glamour of that era. They are believed to be the work of the renowned Italian lighting designer, Carlo Nason for Murano Glass, although they remain unsigned, they are characteristic of his work.
The glass base has a bulb inside that casts a warm amber light, beautifully illuminating through thick glass etchings. It creates an alluring ambiance, perfect for enhancing the mood of any room. The lamp's milky white hand-blown Murano glass shade has a beautiful, soft diffused light. For more ambiance, the top
base operate independent of each other (via a dual switch).
One of the lamp shade fitting clips has been carefully repaired and restored, this does not detract from the beauty or functionality of the lamps. Made in Italy, these lamps are re-wired for compatibility with US standard outlets. If you enjoy a story with great provenance, these lamps are for you!
