PAIR DECORATIVE WROUGHT IRON TABLE TORCHIERES In the Manner of Tommi Parzinger MID CENTURY ELEGANCE Dimensions: 17" TALL 12" WIDE 10" DEEP These wrought iron table torchieres are exemplary designs, inspired by the early andirons! Andirons were used to hold logs in the fireplaces and hearths - a source of illumination and warmth at night. These andiron style lamps provide modern illumination and may be placed to work in tandem on a mantle or hearth or just as easily frame a modern credenza or dining table. Parzinger believed in the "eternal elegance of symmetry". These lamps have a timeless elegance and their simplicity of form and line lends them to embrace all manner of interior decor schemes. Very fine vintage condition. Age appropriate tarnish to the metal. Switches on cords turn on or off lamp. These lamps use standard base bulbs permitting all sorts of looks - from globe bulbs to flame shaped bulbs and more. Harps could also be installed to permit the use of lampshades for yet another look. Any way you set them up, they present beautifully! These lamps make the perfect addition to a NY Penthouse, New Canaan modern, or West Palm Beach estate! MARVELOUS ILLUMINATION FOR YOUR DISTINCTIVE INTERIORS!
