Rare Art Deco Aluminum Globe Lamp by Palmer Smith, unsigned, American, circa 1930s. In 25 years of collecting American Art Deco, we have only seen this lamp form come up for sale twice. The last time was at Wright auction on May 21, 2006 when a pair of these lamps sold for $16,800. This example is the only one we have seen with it's original finial. The lamp shade seen in the photos is not original to the lamp and is not included.
