About the Item

Qing dynasty green urn lamp, Late 19th century Chinese rich deep green glaze pottery ring-handled urn-form lamp on pedestal with complementary large ball finial; decorated with stylized fretwork and dragons flanking pearl motif, with further banded decoration to rim of neck and on inset pedestal panels, all on painted stepped metal base; with two light sockets, newly rewired with black silk cord and cord switch. China, late 19th century. Dimensions: Urn itself is 15” high x 7.75” wide handle to handle. Overall is 17" H to base of stem; 31.25” H to top of finial.
