About the Item

Extremely rare German Bauhaus table lamp 'Piccolo' with adjustable height, arm and shade. Designed by Christian Dell for Bünte Remmler (BuR), 1930s, Germany. Makers mark beneath the base: Piccolo BuR 3244. Executed in dark brown enameled and partly nickel-plated brass, aluminium and cast iron, the lamp needs 1 x E14 / E12 Edison screw fit bulb, is wired and in working condition. It runs both on 110 / 230 volt. On/Off switch at the shade. Good original condition. Wear consistent with use and age.
