A rare and highly decorative French table lamp from the 1920s, featuring a finely modelled spelter monkey in a playful yet elegant pose. The sculptural figure stands on an organically shaped base, its elongated form and fluid lines reflecting the influence of the early Art Deco period. With one arm raised, the monkey supports a slender stem topped with its original parasol-style shade, creating a striking and whimsical silhouette. The shade, softly domed and scalloped at the edge, casts a warm, ambient light that enhances the character and depth of the sculpture below.
