Rare Large Ceramic Table Lamp by René Maurel, France, 1960s An exceptional and rare ceramic table lamp by French ceramist René Maurel, created in the 1960s. Known for his refined sense of form and subtle use of color, Maurel’s work bridges mid-century modern elegance with artisanal craftsmanship. This striking piece stands out for its impressive scale and sculptural presence. The lamp features a tall, bottle-like silhouette finished in a rich, satin blue glaze with decorative detailing around the base in a contrasting matte pattern inspired by organic motifs. Three circular ridges rise from the neck, adding rhythm and visual interest to the form. Highly collectible and difficult to find, this large lamp is a true statement piece—perfect for interiors that celebrate bold design and rare mid-century French ceramics. Heigh : 59cm with the lamp shape, 43cm without Width : 18 cm The lamp is signed. In very good condition. It works. ( It may need to be rewired depending on the destination.
