A very decorative and unusual neo-classical style column lamp with a suqrw base entirely made of beautifully veined and marbled beige oynx likely manufacted in Italy in the early 1960's. Italy is one of the oldest producers of onyx globally, with significant quarries in regions like Tuscany, known for producing a wide range of colors, including various cream and beige tones.
