About the Item
A fantastic and exceptionally rare set consisting of an XL pineapple lamp and a matching round pineapple table, made of brass, glass, and black granite. Designed by the Canadian company Loevsky
Loevsky and distributed in Europe by the Belgian top brand Deknudt, it features a Hollywood Regency style from the 1970s.
These pineapple lamps are frequently on the market, but the matching table is extremely rare and difficult to find. Far fewer were made than the lamps themselves, and due to the fragile material, many tables were likely broken and lost.
The Belgian brand Deknudt specializes in mirrors and lighting, founded in 1946. They are known for their top quality and elegant, timeless design.
The pineapple lamp still has its original, extra-large black fabric shade, completely gold-colored on the inside, creating a very luxurious ambient light. The table has a black granite base and a round glass top. The ensemble exudes luxury and quality and will certainly be an eye-catcher and statement piece in your interior!
Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition. The brass has discolored beautifully over the years, the lampshade has minimal signs of wear, the base of the table has a few small chips along the bottom edge, and some superficial scratches on the glass. However, this set still looks fantastic. Check the photos for more details!
