A rare Mid-Century Industrial task lamp from the 1950s, designed and manufactured by Napako in Czechoslovakia. This functional desk or table lamp features a brilliant red enameled aluminum shade with a perforated collar for ventilation, set upon a highly adjustable chromed stem. The lamp's stability is ensured by a heavy, weighted metal base, making it a reliable source of directional light for a workspace or reading nook. The original wiring is functional, and it includes its original European plug. This piece is offered in its original, unrestored condition. There is visible wear and scratching to the enameled shade and base, consistent with its age and long history of use.
