Rodolfo Dordoni ‘Buds 3’ handblown glass table lamp in white for Foscarini
Designed by Rodolfo Dordoni and produced by Foscarini, the Italian lighting firm founded in Venice on the legendary island of Murano, where generations of master glass blowers have skillfully used their unmatched imagination and skill to create the most innovative works of light into the modern era.
The ‘Buds 3’ is fabricated using many of the same artisanal glass blowing techniques perfected over centuries, with thoughtful attention to detail, use of high quality materials and incomparable rigor and passion, resulting in a lamp that conveys emotions of timeless beauty. Expertly crafted with a five-layer handblown glass diffuser, attached to a hand polished machine-milled transparent methyl methacrylate cylinder, the 'Buds 3' emits a warm ivory glow when on while remaining an elegant and glossy white when off.
