About the Item

A petite Royal Delft Delvert ceramic table lamp in the rare blue-green colorway paired with a bespoke luxe blush pink Liberty London peacock jacquard lampshade — perfect for a dressing table, nursery corner, or any room that benefits from gentle, ambient light. Newly wired with a U.S. plug. Meticulously handcrafted by Amitābha Studio in Amsterdam, this one-of-a-kind table lamp is made from an original hand-painted 1968 Delft Delvert vase produced by Royal Delft (De Porceleyne Fles), the Netherlands’ most prestigious ceramic manufacturer. The Delvert line—named by designer Herman Sanders as a blend of Delft and the French vert (green)—is admired for its uncommon blue-green palette, translucent milky glaze, and intricate hand-painted decoration. Produced only between 1968 and 1976 in limited quantities, Delvert pieces are increasingly sought after by collectors. This vase bears the Royal Delft year code for 1968 and the initials of master painter C.M. Wolve, affirming both origin and authorship. Its hand-painted floral motif—delicate, rhythmic, and unmistakably Dutch—expresses a restrained elegance that feels both timeless and fresh. To complement the cool tones of the ceramic, we’ve paired the base with a bespoke Liberty London lampshade in the archival Hera Plume jacquard, woven in the Slipper Pink colorway. The blush-toned peacock-feather pattern adds shimmer, texture, and a touch of soft glamour, making this lamp especially suited to Hollywood Regency, Regency Revival, romantic, eclectic, or maximalist interiors. The lamp was created using non-invasive methods that preserve the integrity of the original vase. ⸻ • Fully wired for the U.S. • Listed height includes the shade. • We offer complimentary plug conversion to match the standards of your country. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. ⸻ About Amitābha Studio: Amitābha Studio is a design atelier dedicated to transforming historic ceramics into one-of-a-kind lighting objects. Each lamp is crafted with deep reverence for the original form, using non-invasive methods that preserve the integrity of every antique or vintage vase. We pair these bases with bespoke lampshades made from luxurious textiles such as vintage sari silks or fine European fabrics and complete each piece with carefully selected fabric wrapped cords, fittings, and handmade brass elements. Our work is guided by a commitment to sustainability, cultural heritage, and timeless design.

This blue and white Chinoiserie ceramic table lamp features a vintage Dutch Delftware style vase with sculptural ribbing paired with a custom Chinoiserie lampshade, blending mid-century design with traditional Dutch ceramic heritage. The vase base displays distinctive vertical ribbing in white glaze characteristic of mid-20th century Dutch pottery. Its classic ginger jar silhouette exemplifies the Delfts Wit style—white glazed Delftware that developed alongside the more famous blue and white tradition. The vase as mounted in wood is approximately 10in. high and 6in. diameter.
