About the Item
Scandinavian modern glazed studio ceramic table lamp - featuring a striking cream glaze with iron oxide russet colored streaks - the glaze expertly applied in a swirling motion from the base to the top of the neck - molded form - faux silk on card drum shaped shade fitted with harp and plain brass finial - 120 volt electrical fittings with white extra long electrical cord (13 feet plus slack) - push button on/off switch - drilled hole for electrical cord - unsigned - Denmark (likely) - circa 1960's.
Excellent vintage condition - firing fault/hairline crack and restoration to the back of the lamp base (near the cord) - all original - minor scuffs, stains and creases to the shade - signs of age and use.
