About the Item
A sculptural and fully adjustable chrome floor lamp, Italy, 1960s.
This rare Mid-Century Modern design features a highly flexible articulated structure with three rotating joints, allowing the lamp to “snake” into virtually any position. Each joint pivots a full 360 degrees, making the light easily adjustable from a compact 42 × 30 × 42 cm downlight configuration to an impressive 42 × 30 × 125 cm upplight position.
The chrome finish remains in excellent, high-quality condition, highlighting the craftsmanship typical of Italian lighting from the period.
A versatile and sculptural piece that can function as either a floor lamp or table lamp, offering a striking combination of form, movement, and functionality.
In the first image shown, the lamp is displayed in an upward-lighting position at 42 × 30 × 125 cm high. In the second position shown, the lamp is displayed in an upward-lighting position at 42 × 30 × 95 cm high. In the third image shown, the lamp is displayed in the smallest position at 42 × 30 × 42 cm high.
