Rare Pair of Italian Bronze and Wood Table Lamps with Lion Paw Bases, 19th Century
A rare and striking pair of 19th-century Italian table lamps, each crafted with a bold gilt-bronze base cast in the form of monumental lion paws resting on square wooden plinths. The upper section is composed of a tapering, dark-stained wooden shaft, its natural age cracks and patina lending depth, authenticity, and character to the design.
