Exquisite and superbly executed hand-blown glass torchere table lamp with gold foil on a gilded base by Seguso, Murano Italy, 1950's. The artisanship involved in blowing a table lamps of this scale and complexity is simply incredible. In 2001, this same model lamp was auctioned by Christies as part of Karl Lagerfeld’s personal collection (see photo).
