2 Vintage Table Lamp Junior from Philips - 1950s
These lamps are a real piece of vintage design history and testify to the creative brilliance of the renowned designer Louis Kalff.
He was the artistic director of the Philips company in Eindhoven, Holland, and was known for his innovative designs. The Timor table lamps are a prime example of his visionary approach to lighting. The dynamic shape of the lamp is exemplary of the "New Look" of the 50s. The clean lines and minimalist aesthetics make these lamps true gems.
Their innovative lampshade design, with a bulb piercing the centre, provides an interesting effect and practical light distribution.
The cleaned items has each 1 x E27 socket and weights 2.5 kg / 5.5 lbs.
