About the Item
We purchased this great pair of stoneware lamps marked with an AP monogram out of an incredible estate with some incredible 1970s period lighting, including quite a few pieces we will be posting. Not sure if AP stands for Architectural Products. They are pictured in our gallery set next to a B&B Italia Charles Sofa and some Milo Baughman chairs available on this site as well.
The house contained rare examples of Stilnovo lighting including a Pierre Cardin Quasar lamp. This pair has been redone with high quality chrome fittings, have been re-wired and new shades. They appear to be cast stoneware, as the lamps are identical. They have some imperfections from the casting process and minor losses and some overall discoloration. They have age appropriate wear.
