Pair of "Scorpio" table lamps by Fase, from 1980s. These pieces were made during the 1980s in Madrid by “Fase”. And there was sort production of this model "Scorpio".
“Fase” original label still shows on the bottom of every table lamps. These lamps are in perfect condition.
The company Fase was founded in the early 1960s in Madrid. Its factory and offices were located in Torrejón de Ardoz. They mainly manufactured Lamps of high quality and design.
The company supplied lamps to the offices of the Spanish government of the 1960s and 1970s.
Fase lamps appear in television series Cuéntame or the internationals Mad Men and House. Also movies, in some of Almodóvar's films, even in the fourth installment of Indiana Jones, there are only a few examples where you can see these icons of Spanish Industrial Design.
Features of "Scorpio" table lamp: Low voltage halogen lamp, two intensities, bulb + transformer incorporated, steatite lamp holder and glass protection. Weight of each table lamp is 1.5 kg.
